“ Cheap and delicious - what more could one ask for? I gave Ming's Tasty a try after hearing about it from a friend. Yelp reviews only further bolstered my excitement about the experience. My friends and I went at approximately 9:30 am on a Saturday. When we entered the restaurant, it was already fairly busy, and by the time we left (approximately 10:30 am), there was already a line out the door. I would definitely recommend getting there early (especially on a weekend), but I also noticed that they have an active "to-go" line for pick-up orders. That being said, amidst all the bustle in the restaurant, we were able to get our order in pretty quickly. It is all made to order, so the food is all hot and fresh when it is served. My personal favorite was the Palace Osmanthus Cake - it was extremely flavorful and I find that it is pretty uncommon at most dimsum restaurants. Other than that, many of the other items were also extremely delicious and flavorful. I will definitely be returning to try out more options! ”

“ Expect hot typical dim sum, they open at 9am for the early birds, their XL dishes are $7.20 so that's the highest you will pay for the different options. Love all The fried dumplings and rolls. They also have a few congee options and huge portions of wonton soup. Don't expect the service to be great. We had to ask for tea refill Several times before our tea or anything extra condiments would be brought over. Servers are not afraid to blatantly ask for tips if you didn't include in your total. That was one thing I didn't appreciate as I was going to leave cash. And gratuity should always be optional based on the service received. ”

I tried a variety of dishes, including the pork and shrimp dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings, baked BBQ pork buns, egg yolk custard buns, pork ribs in black bean sauce, and fried tofu skin wrap with shrimp. All of the dishes were incredibly delicious and flavorful! I highly recommend the baked BBQ pork buns--the outer crust is slightly crispy and has a delightful sweetness. Every dish with shrimp was particularly impressive, filled generously with shrimp and very satisfying. ”
